Love, The Nitty-Gritty Truth

“Love endures long and is patient and kind; love never is envious nor boils over with jealousy, is not boastful or vainglorious, does not display itself haughtily. It is not conceited (arrogant and inflated with pride); it is not rude (unmannerly) and does not act unbecomingly. Love (God’s love in us) does not insist on its own rights or its own way, for it is not self-seeking; it is not touchy or fretful or resentful; it takes no account of the evil done to it [it pays no attention to a suffered wrong]. It does not rejoice at injustice and unrighteousness, but rejoices when right and truth prevail. Love bears up under anything and everything that comes, is ever ready to believe the best of every person, its hopes are fadeless under all circumstances, and it endures everything [without weakening]. Love never fails [never fades out or becomes obsolete or comes to an end].”

Satan’s Warped Mental Bondage, His Rogue Thoughts

Jimmy Evans “Listen, when your mind begins to argue with the Word of God, you don’t sit there and argue with the Word of God, you cast down that argument and you accept the Word of God. That’s how you get set free. God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of love and power and a sound mind. So the only way you can deal with fear is to treat it as a separate entity. It’s not your fear. You weren’t born with any fear. You don’t have any fear, you’re fearless. Did you know that? All fear,…God hasn’t given us a spirit of fear. God doesn’t use fear. God didn’t create us with fear. So why am I saying this? Is because the same way you deal with fear is the way you deal with a mental stronghold. It’s not your thought, it’s the devil’s thought. Taking every thought captive. It’s not your friend, it’s not you, it’s the devil…There cannot be rogue thoughts,…you can’t have a rogue thought in your mind, you can’t. It’ll destroy your life. It’ll hold you in bongage”.

“[Inasmuch as we] refute arguments and theories and reasonings and every proud and lofty thing that sets itself up against the [true] knowledge of God; and we lead every thought and purpose away captive into the obedience of Christ (the Messiah, the Anointed One),”

A Glorious God Who Answers Prayers

“For you, O Lord, are good and forgiving, abounding in steadfast love to all who call upon you. Give ear, O Lord, to my prayer; listen to my plea for grace. In the day of my trouble I call upon you, for you answer me.”

Is Peter’s Rooster Crowing for You?

“Then began he to curse and to swear, saying, I know not the man. And immediately the cock crew. And Peter remembered the word of Jesus, which said unto him, Before the cock crow, thou shalt deny me thrice. And he went out, and wept bitterly.”

Worship the Lord in Song

“Oh sing to the Lord a new song; sing to the Lord, all the earth! Sing to the Lord, bless his name; tell of his salvation from day to day. Declare his glory among the nations, his marvelous works among all the peoples! For great is the Lord, and greatly to be praised; he is to be feared above all gods. For all the gods of the peoples are worthless idols, but the Lord made the heavens. Splendor and majesty are before him; strength and beauty are in his sanctuary.”

By His Grace We Have Been Saved

“And you were dead in the trespasses and sins in which you once walked, following the course of this world, following the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that is now at work in the sons of disobedience—among whom we all once lived in the passions of our flesh, carrying out the desires of the body and the mind, and were by nature children of wrath, like the rest of mankind. But God, being rich in mercy, because of the great love with which he loved us, even when we were dead in our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ—by grace you have been saved—and raised us up with him and seated us with him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus, so that in the coming ages he might show the immeasurable riches of his grace in kindness toward us in Christ Jesus. For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast. For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.”

The Battle over Our Minds

Jimmy Evans “The biggest battle we fight in life is in our minds. The devil wants to use trauma and pain and turn us against God and each other. My prayer is that you have new knowledge on how to fight the enemy, and that the next time he whispers to you that you’re not good enough, or that God doesn’t love you that you’ll recognize that lie is coming from him and replace it with the truths that God says about you….Scripture is how we win the battle and finally become free. We have to change the devil’s thoughts with God’s thoughts. I want to challenge you to read God’s Word”.

“For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end. Then shall ye call upon me, and ye shall go and pray unto me, and I will hearken unto you. And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart.”

~~~Jeremiah 29:11-13 (KJV)~~~
“How precious also are thy thoughts unto me, O God! how great is the sum of them! If I should count them, they are more in number than the sand: when I awake, I am still with thee.”
