The Holy Word of God

“Every word of God is tried and purified; He is a shield to those who trust and take refuge in Him. Add not to His words, lest He reprove you, and you be found a liar.”

~~~Proverbs 30:5-6 (AMPC)~~~
“Every word of God proves true; he is a shield to those who take refuge in him. Do not add to his words, lest he rebuke you and you be found a liar.”
~~~Proverbs 30:5-6 (ESV)~~~

“The believer replied, “Every promise of God proves true; he protects everyone who runs to him for help. So don’t second-guess him; he might take you to task and show up your lies.”

~~~Proverbs 30:5-6 (MSG)~~~
“Every word of God is pure: he is a shield unto them that put their trust in him. Add thou not unto his words, lest he reprove thee, and thou be found a liar.”
As Her Mouth Goes, so Goes the Marriage
Charlyne Steinkamp “Women, do you respect your husband? Men are to love their wives as their own bodies . A man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh. Ephesians 5:31 When I started disrespecting Bob because of his actions, behaviors, and words, I allowed the enemy to come into our home and pour self-righteousness, bitterness, and anger into my heart”.
“Wives, be subject (be submissive and adapt yourselves) to your own husbands as [a service] to the Lord. For the husband is head of the wife as Christ is the Head of the church, Himself the Savior of [His] body. As the church is subject to Christ, so let wives also be subject in everything to their husbands. Husbands, love your wives, as Christ loved the church and gave Himself up for her, So that He might sanctify her, having cleansed her by the washing of water with the Word, That He might present the church to Himself in glorious splendor, without spot or wrinkle or any such things [that she might be holy and faultless]. Even so husbands should love their wives as [being in a sense] their own bodies. He who loves his own wife loves himself. For no man ever hated his own flesh, but nourishes and carefully protects and cherishes it, as Christ does the church, Because we are members (parts) of His body. For this reason a man shall leave his father and his mother and shall be joined to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh. This mystery is very great, but I speak concerning [the relation of] Christ and the church. However, let each man of you [without exception] love his wife as [being in a sense] his very own self; and let the wife see that she respects and reverences her husband [that she notices him, regards him, honors him, prefers him, venerates, and esteems him; and that she defers to him, praises him, and loves and admires him exceedingly].”
The Main Purpose of Prayer
Andrew Wommack “But I’m telling you we’ve got to come back to just thanking God for what you have. And if you would just fellowship with the Lord and love Him, I guarantee you the joy of the Lord would be your strength. Praise is strength to still the enemy and the avenger. You abound in faith with thanksgiving (Colossians chapter two, verse seven). And on and on it goes. It’s just a powerful thing. If we would start just enjoying the Lord, fellowshipping with Him, you wouldn’t have as many problems. And the problems that you have wouldn’t be that big of a deal, Just not that big of a deal. In the light of eternity, what does it matter? Most of the stuff we deal with is just not that important. So I encourage you to recognize that the real purpose of prayer is not to get stuff from God, even thought that is a part of it, but the main purpose of prayer is just to worship God, to bless God, to love God, to be a pleasure unto Him. And when you do that, God’ll never let you out give Him. He will bless you back more than you ever bless Him. If you go to thanking Him, He is going to give you so much more stuff to thank Him for because He just loves, He inhabit the praises of His people. He will bless you more than you ever thought of accidently than you ever got on purpose before asking and begging. Man that’s good news! I encourage you today to receive that and to just start making the main thing the main thing. Put prayer as ‘Father, I want to know you. I want to bless you. You’ve given so much to me, I want to bless you.'”
“Then [Ezra] told them, Go your way, eat the fat, drink the sweet drink, and send portions to him for whom nothing is prepared; for this day is holy to our Lord. And be not grieved and depressed, for the joy of the Lord is your strength and stronghold.”
The Secret to True & Enduring Feminine Beauty
“In like manner, you married women, be submissive to your own husbands [subordinate yourselves as being secondary to and dependent on them, and adapt yourselves to them], so that even if any do not obey the Word [of God], they may be won over not by discussion but by the [godly] lives of their wives, When they observe the pure and modest way in which you conduct yourselves, together with your reverence [for your husband; you are to feel for him all that reverence includes: to respect, defer to, revere him—to honor, esteem, appreciate, prize, and, in the human sense, to adore him, that is, to admire, praise, be devoted to, deeply love, and enjoy your husband]. Let not yours be the [merely] external adorning with [elaborate] interweaving and knotting of the hair, the wearing of jewelry, or changes of clothes; But let it be the inward adorning and beauty of the hidden person of the heart, with the incorruptible and unfading charm of a gentle and peaceful spirit, which [is not anxious or wrought up, but] is very precious in the sight of God. For it was thus that the pious women of old who hoped in God were [accustomed] to beautify themselves and were submissive to their husbands [adapting themselves to them as themselves secondary and dependent upon them]. It was thus that Sarah obeyed Abraham [following his guidance and acknowledging his headship over her by] calling him lord (master, leader, authority). And you are now her true daughters if you do right and let nothing terrify you [not giving way to hysterical fears or letting anxieties unnerve you]”.
What Does God Ask of Me?
“The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit; a broken and contrite heart, O God, you will not despise”.
~~~Psalm 51:17 (ESV)~~~

~~~Psalm 51:17 (TPT)~~~
The How Is NOT Important
Bob Steinkamp of Rejoice Marriage Ministries “May I borrow from Charlyne’s style today and ask you a question? What do prodigals want? No, not why do prodigals leave home, because we all know that answer. Husbands and wives walk out on their mates and on their children because of an attack from the enemy. Drugs, sex, and alcohol are not “why” prodigals leave, but “how” they leave. You and I both know how temporal those pleasures can be, and so does every prodigal spouse. We make that discovery the hard way; by experience, often at the cost of family, career, health and happiness”.
“Be sober-minded; be watchful. Your adversary the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour. Resist him, firm in your faith, knowing that the same kinds of suffering are being experienced by your brotherhood throughout the world”.
~~~1 Peter 5:8-9 (ESV)~~~

“Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you”.

Is Your Christian Faith Just Your Religion or Is It Your TRUTH?

Former atheist Police Detective J. Warner Wallace* “Faith is not something that’s blind. It’s the step you take at the end of the evidence trail…And I knew two things, that He was who He said He was and…I am in need of who He says He is….And it changed who Jesus was to me….but that doesn’t make you a Christian….I had believed that the Gospels were telling me the truth. You don’t move from belief that to belief in until you stop reading the Bible for what it says about Jesus and you start reading the Bible for what it says about you…You eventually have to come back to the truth”.

“If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness”.

Pure Wisdom From Above

“For wherever there is jealousy (envy) and contention (rivalry and selfish ambition), there will also be confusion (unrest, disharmony, rebellion) and all sorts of evil and vile practices. But the wisdom from above is first of all pure (undefiled); then it is peace-loving, courteous (considerate, gentle). [It is willing to] yield to reason, full of compassion and good fruits; it is wholehearted and straightforward, impartial and unfeigned (free from doubts, wavering, and insincerity). And the harvest of righteousness (of conformity to God’s will in thought and deed) is [the fruit of the seed] sown in peace by those who work for and make peace [in themselves and in others, that peace which means concord, agreement, and harmony between individuals, with undisturbedness, in a peaceful mind free from fears and agitating passions and moral conflicts]”.

~~~James 3:16-18 (AMPC)~~~
“For where jealousy and selfish ambition exist, there will be disorder and every vile practice. But the wisdom from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, open to reason, full of mercy and good fruits, impartial and sincere. And a harvest of righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace”.
The Saving Grace of Jesus Christ
“But after that the kindness and love of God our Saviour toward man appeared, Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost; Which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour; That being justified by his grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life”.
~~~Titus 3:4-7 (KJV)~~~

“But when the goodness and loving-kindness of God our Savior to man [as man] appeared, He saved us, not because of any works of righteousness that we had done, but because of His own pity and mercy, by [the] cleansing [bath] of the new birth (regeneration) and renewing of the Holy Spirit, Which He poured out [so] richly upon us through Jesus Christ our Savior. [And He did it in order] that we might be justified by His grace (by His favor, wholly undeserved), [that we might be acknowledged and counted as conformed to the divine will in purpose, thought, and action], and that we might become heirs of eternal life according to [our] hope”.
