Proudly Proclaim No Compromising!

“The wicked flee when no one pursues, but the righteous are bold as a lion.”

~~~Proverbs 28:1 (ESV)~~~
WHY?
“For consider your calling, brothers: not many of you were wise according to worldly standards, not many were powerful, not many were of noble birth. But God chose what is foolish in the world to shame the wise; God chose what is weak in the world to shame the strong; God chose what is low and despised in the world, even things that are not, to bring to nothing things that are, so that no human being might boast in the presence of God. And because of him you are in Christ Jesus, who became to us wisdom from God, righteousness and sanctification and redemption, so that, as it is written, “Let the one who boasts, boast in the Lord.”
CONFIDENTIAL ENCOURAGER
What Is a Confidential Encourager?
I honestly feel each and every single one of us has at some point during the course of our life found ourselves in need of someone to talk to, someone who will listen and be a sounding board, and can be trusted to keep our conversations in confidence. This is what my personally coined term Confidential Encourager represents.
Sure we all have family, friends, coworkers, and even pastors and teachers who we could ask for guidance as we navigate through life, especially during those so obvious to others difficult times. But what about the not so obvious to everyone else times when the turmoil deep within our hearts is beyond our ability to clearly and concisely explain? And as Christians we also know we can and should talk to God about our concerns. But sometimes those closest to us are actually a little bit too close to us, thus are unable to be unbiased while also keeping our secrets in confidence. And, sometimes our thoughts are such a jumbled mess, we can’t seem to hear from God.
We could go to a shrink, you know, a clinical psychologist or psychiatrist, but don’t really want to, can’t afford to, don’t want or need to be put on medication and weekly couch time for possibly years to come. We could sign up for an expensive preset and step-by-step course to turn our lives around, but aren’t looking for a cookie-cutter, often overpriced coaching program.
Sometimes we simply need someone we can confide in, can trust, can afford, can count on to listen and interpret precisely what it is we are trying to understand about ourselves and how to deal with it all, someone who can see deep within our soul and offer encouragement without being judgmental and opinionated. Call it counseling, call it coaching,…call it two people talking, you sharing while I listen, you opening up while I interpret what your heart is really trying to understand, call it mentoring if need be. Call it a conversation held in confidence because you sometimes just need someone to talk to, call it a Confidential Encourager.
Let Jesus Carry Your Burdens
Letting Jesus take upon Himself our yoke is not about the yoke of an egg, but is about the yoke placed upon horses or oxen as they pull the massive weight of the load behind them or pull the plow as it digs furrows through the soil. It is also like the yoke of an airplane, as in the controls in the cockpit. Either example is about control, taking over and making our lives so much easier, it is about trusting Jesus as we turn our lives over to Him.
“Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.”
Rejoice In The Lord
“Though the fig tree should not blossom, nor fruit be on the vines, the produce of the olive fail and the fields yield no food, the flock be cut off from the fold and there be no herd in the stalls, yet I will rejoice in the Lord; I will take joy in the God of my salvation. God, the Lord, is my strength; he makes my feet like the deer’s; he makes me tread on my high places.”
The Answer, The Plain & Simple Truth
“When I shut up the heavens so that there is no rain, or command the locust to devour the land, or send pestilence among my people, if my people who are called by my name humble themselves, and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land. Now my eyes will be open and my ears attentive to the prayer that is made in this place.”
God’s Chosen Ones, Do You Fit The Bill?
“Put on then, as God’s chosen ones, holy and beloved, compassionate hearts, kindness, humility, meekness, and patience, bearing with one another and, if one has a complaint against another, forgiving each other; as the Lord has forgiven you, so you also must forgive. And above all these put on love, which binds everything together in perfect harmony. And let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, to which indeed you were called in one body. And be thankful. Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom, singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, with thankfulness in your hearts to God. And whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.”
Light Your Fire!
“For this reason I remind you to fan into flame the gift of God, which is in you through the laying on of my hands, for God gave us a spirit not of fear but of power and love and self-control.”
Definition of Marriage: Covenant
You will never see a happier couple who obviously love each other, their family, and the Lord. “Boardroom Chat” with Jesse & Cathy Duplantis is a nearly hour long fun time listening to Jesse & Cathy as they minister. Having been married for just over fifty years, Jesse & Cathy have learned what it takes to have an amazing marriage. During this Boardroom Chat entitled “Learn What To Do, Where To Do It, And How To Do It!” Jesse so wonderfully explains how to have a good marriage:
“Now let me tell you something about marriage. You have to learn to have a good marriage. Let me teach you something about a good marriage. I got the definition of a marriage from John Hagee. I loved it when he said it and I’ve adopted it into my life. He said marriage is the death of two wills and the covenant of one. You come in as two people, you walk out as one flesh. But a marriage, let me just tell you something. You have to learn from each other, you see. In other words Cathy’s taught me a lot of things. And I pray to God I’ve taught her a lot of things. If we do this together, I’ve got your back, she’s got my back. You see, then we can accomplish these things in life”.
“For this reason a man shall leave [behind] his father and his mother and be join to his wife and cleave closely to her permanently. And the two shall become one flesh, so that they are no longer two, but one flesh. What therefore God has united (joined together), let not man separate or divide.”
God’s Grace For Sin
“‘…grace is my overwhelming desire to treat you like sin never happened.’ Now I understood it! Now I can get it! Jesus bore my sins in His body on the tree, that I being dead to sin should live under righteousness by whose stripes I was healed. Hallelujah! That’s grace! Well, you go to Hell for lying same as you will for stealing. Ain’t nobody ever gone to Hell for lying…. Nobody’s ever gone to Hell for committing sin. You go to Hell because you don’t know Jesus. Only one man that God ever sent to Hell, made sick or poor, and His name is Jesus” Kenneth Copeland.
“He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, that we might die to sin and live to righteousness. By his wounds you have been healed” 1 Peter 2:24 (ESV).
