Movieguide “I had always struggled with my faith because sometimes it doesn’t feel like God’s listening to you, and it took me a long time to realize this, just because he’s not talking doesn’t mean he’s not listening….But going back to always praying and keeping my faith in knowing the Lord was going to do something. Sometimes after prayer, there’s always a sign that the Lord gives pointing you in the right direction, and it may not be obvious, but he’s showing you in some shape, form, or fashion”.
“Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.”

“And he said unto his disciples, Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat; neither for the body, what ye shall put on. The life is more than meat, and the body is more than raiment. Consider the ravens: for they neither sow nor reap; which neither have storehouse nor barn; and God feedeth them: how much more are ye better than the fowls? And which of you with taking thought can add to his stature one cubit? If ye then be not able to do that thing which is least, why take ye thought for the rest? Consider the lilies how they grow: they toil not, they spin not; and yet I say unto you, that Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. If then God so clothe the grass, which is to day in the field, and to morrow is cast into the oven; how much more will he clothe you, O ye of little faith? And seek not ye what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink, neither be ye of doubtful mind. For all these things do the nations of the world seek after: and your Father knoweth that ye have need of these things. But rather seek ye the kingdom of God; and all these things shall be added unto you.”
~~~Luke 12:22-31 (KJV)~~~
“And [Jesus] said to His disciples, Therefore I tell you, do not be anxious and troubled [with cares] about your life, as to what you will [have to] eat; or about your body, as to what you will [have to] wear. For life is more than food, and the body [more] than clothes. Observe and consider the ravens; for they neither sow nor reap, they have neither storehouse nor barn; and [yet] God feeds them. Of how much more worth are you than the birds! And which of you by being overly anxious and troubled with cares can add a cubit to his stature or a moment [unit] of time to his age [the length of his life]? If then you are not able to do such a little thing as that, why are you anxious and troubled with cares about the rest? Consider the lilies, how they grow. They neither [wearily] toil nor spin nor weave; yet I tell you, even Solomon in all his glory (his splendor and magnificence) was not arrayed like one of these. But if God so clothes the grass in the field, which is alive today, and tomorrow is thrown into the furnace, how much more will He clothe you, O you [people] of little faith? And you, do not seek [by meditating and reasoning to inquire into] what you are to eat and what you are to drink; nor be of anxious (troubled) mind [unsettled, excited, worried, and in suspense]; For all the pagan world is [greedily] seeking these things, and your Father knows that you need them. Only aim at and strive for and seek His kingdom, and all these things shall be supplied to you also.”
Jesse Duplantis “You never judge Christianity by the conduct of Christians. You judge Christianity by the conduct of Christ. Cause on the cross He said forgive them for they know not what they do”.
“Judge not, that you be not judged. For with the judgment you pronounce you will be judged, and with the measure you use it will be measured to you. Why do you see the speck that is in your brother’s eye, but do not notice the log that is in your own eye? Or how can you say to your brother, ‘Let me take the speck out of your eye,’ when there is the log in your own eye? You hypocrite, first take the log out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to take the speck out of your brother’s eye.”
Henry Cloud of Boundaries.Me discusses what a safe person is and is not.
“Change does happen, and it starts with you. Henry emphasizes that hope spends time and energy, and we have to accept what’s in front of us when we’re making decisions about unsafe people. We can’t expect someone change if there’s no tangible fruit for it to happen, but as we look forward to the future, we can embrace our capacity to change, set boundaries, employ consequences and build our support systems. When we equip and empower ourselves in such a way, the other person has no choice but to change the way they’re treating you.“
“A safe person helps you become and because of your relationship with them helps you become the best version of who you were created to be. See an unsafe person tries to either they harm you in some way or they try to turn you into somebody you’re not suppose to be. The second thing a safe person does is a safe person also helps you become more connected and able to connect and oriented towards connecting with other safe people. Cause some people that you think are safe, they don’t want you to have other relationships, right, they want to own you, they’re possessive. So we don’t want controlling, possessive relationships, we want relationships that build us to being better relational people. The third thing that a safe person does helps me get closer to God. See good relationships get us out of this, this materialistic, temporal, you know, self-gratification world that calls us to be called to higher purposes. So I think safe people doing all those things and unsafe people make us go the other direction.”
“Put on then, as God’s chosen ones, holy and beloved, compassionate hearts, kindness, humility, meekness, and patience, bearing with one another and, if one has a complaint against another, forgiving each other; as the Lord has forgiven you, so you also must forgive. And above all these put on love, which binds everything together in perfect harmony. And let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, to which indeed you were called in one body. And be thankful. Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom, singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, with thankfulness in your hearts to God. And whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.”
BIll Winston “You will prosper as your soul prospers. And, prosperity of your soul is nothing but revelation of the Word of God. You’re going to prosper as your soul prospers and the prosperity of your soul in nothing but the revelation of the Word of God. Now, I advise you to get back into those scriptures and work on prospering your soul, just work on prospering your soul. Go to scriptures that agree with what you’re believing for or whatever have you and start saying them, maybe on a daily basis and so forth, and prosper your soul. Because sometimes you can act on something by faith and the Bible calls it presumption. In other words a person never really believed it, they just did it cause I said it or did it cause I did it . Other people can believe things very quickly. And what you have to do is you have to follow the rules. One rule is you must see God as your only source. You must sow a seed and you must expect a miracle that God is going to get it to you from somewhere. And it doesn’t make any difference where it comes from if God has so designated this place or this person or this company, whatever, for it to come through, I’m okay with whatever God’s okay with. As you listen to people like me and you see some of those faith stories that I talk about and sowing and reaping so forth and so on, see those stories, this conversion will take place inside of you, it really will…that spiritual law demands faith and faith comes when you believe”.
“Let your moderation be known unto all men. The Lord is at hand. Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things. Those things, which ye have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, do: and the God of peace shall be with you.”
“Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God: Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;”
Rejoice Marriage Ministries fellow stander, Kim from Nebraska “When Dad had left several months ago, Nate and his sisters were actually glad to see him go. There had been arguing and strife in the home for a long time and Nate thought that this separation was a good thing because then he didn’t have to listen to the raised voices all the time or see the tears in his mom’s eyes after a confrontation. And, for a while, it WAS a good thing because the arguing had stopped. What he didn’t know at the time was that it was quiet in his home now because the enemy had succeeded in stirring up enough strife to break up another family”.
